If you set the aim assist to "Hitscan Only", you won't hit anything you're aiming at even if you're directly in front of it. The gut meter makes you fart and make exposed to enemies while the beer meter makes the controls screw up and you can't shoot until you're sober, and this can get problematic in the middle of a battle. The Beer and Gut levels are an interesting concept on paper, but executed poorly.Bad design choices, such as dynamite pickups being vulnerable to gunshots (not helped by the insane blast radius), or the Alien Hulks having to be gibbed just to die.

The most annoying enemy by far is.a dog, as for some reason they can shake off full on shotgun blasts at close range. There's an pistol wielder named Old Coot, a shotgunner called Billy Jay, a sheriff named Lester, and a few alien enemies.

The back of the box and the manual states that Leonard and Bubba have to rescue their prized pig Bessie, but she never makes an appearance in the game, nor in the ending. The Hunting Rifle does decent damage and can stunlock some of the tougher enemies, but is almost useless due to paltry amount of ammo you get for it. It also has no vertical spread with the horizontal spread being similar to the Doom 3 and Duke Nukem 3D shotgun, making killing enemies a major chore. The shotgun is an RNG machine, sometimes you can kill lower tier enemies in one shot and sometimes you have to with two. It can take many shots to down some of the lower tier enemies. The pistol, despite being called a powerful gun using Casul rounds in the manual, feels like a peashooter. Some of the weapons are unbalanced and useless.What's worse is that all the keys look exactly the same and blend in with the environment most of time. Unlike other shooters at the time, the doors and keys are not marked, meaning you have to go and try every locked door until you find the right one, which is just a chore. The key system is stupidly complicated.Dairy Air Farms in particular spawns you right in front of enemies along with kegs that can instantly kill you if either you or the enemies shoot them. Many levels, such as the first level in Taylor Town and the Mansion, are so unnecessarily large.

Unlike other Build engine titles, this game's level design is awful and overly complex to the point where you can get lost easily.
